"Say the Word", was the answer to my reading woes. But, really, I should have known that would be the case, judging by my reaction to her first book, "Like Gravity".

As with "Like Gravity", this book is a standalone, romantic suspense. Her writing is descriptive, lyrical, poetic, moving, and funny/5(). With delicate humor and gritty storyline, Ms. Garsee delivers a winner with Say the Word. Her characters jump out of the book and are your friends.

She is also master of creating the worst humans ever known, and Dr. Gallagher is definitely high up on that by: 3. Say the Word, a stand-alone new adult romance, hails as the second book published by the gifted wordsmith Julie Johnson.

Both this and Like Gravity are two of my most favorite NA reads. Narrated strictly by the heroine, Lux Kincaid, Ms. Johnson treats the readers to an easy conversational tone of which leaves us completely enamored with her story.4/5.
